Apartment Most - Offer
Apartment Most is located on the first floor in one of the most famous older houses in the centre of the Village Most na Soči (Slovenian Name of the House: »Munihova hiša«). This noble location offers an excellent view over the confluence of the rivers Soča and Idrijca, the old village core and the surrounding mountains. This holiday flat measures 65 m2 and it is very suitable for families, couples or different groups.
The large living room, 21 m2 in size, has a panoramic window with an exit to the balcony, two beds extendable to 140 X 200 cm and satellite TV.
The apartment has a bedroom with one double and one single bed, but we are also willing to arrange three single beds according to your wishes; a modern equipped kitchen with dining area and bathroom with washing machine and dryer, also a private cellar (pantry) and a garage for storing of bikes and motorcycles or sport and fishing equipment. Anglers can purchase fishing permits at our place.
The access to the large sunny terrace (50 m2) gives this apartment its unique charm.
Possibly you can also rent the adjoining apartment (max 7 persons) and the terrace which can be shared. There is a boundary between the two terraces with a door, so privacy is guaranteed.
The wonderful location of the apartment nearby the small village square with public parking lots and the church of St. Lucia (Slovene: cerkev Sv. Lucije) offers many benefits. Within 100 meters from the apartment there is a modern tennis and ball court, fitness centre, grocery store, post office, bank, ATM, two restaurants, a hair salon, Archaeology Museum, medical and dental centre, gas station, tourist information point...
The cultural and historical trail of Most na Soči called »Čez most po modrost« runs along just before the house. About 100 m from the house at the nearby lake, there is also the water-energy trail, called »Na Most po krepkost«.
We offer our guests tourist information and brochures. We inexpensively arrange meals at the nearby restaurants upon request. We sell fishing permits and arrange fishing guides. Wireless internet is available for free.

The hearth of Soča valley, site of relaxation and positive energy in the land of living water
Most na Soči is located on a ridge between the confluence of the Soča and Idrijca river. In the past the river beds, cut deeply into the rocky slopes, provide the settlement with ample protection from intruders. The accumulation lake of the Doblar Water Power Plant has filled gorges with water and stretching below the settlement now attracts both fishermen and visitors who can stroll along signposted paths which are panoramic and none too demanding.
Exceptional archaeological finds - more than 7000 grave sites discovered so far - make the location among one of the most important prehistoric settlements in the world. Rich finds date from the late Bronze Age to the Roman period, most of them originating from the Iron Age community known as the Sveta Lucija Culture, after the town. The finds are on display in the museums of Vienna, Trieste and Gorizia and the nearest in Tolmin Museum. The restored and protected remains of a Roman house are located in Most. Another monument to the town's long history is the church of St Maurus, the first written record of which dates from 1192 another interesting site is a monument to the soldiers from the First World War at Postaja.
The birthplace of writer Ciril Kosmač is part of the Genius Loci European programme which connects birth places of famous artists: Giotto, Goya, Lorca, Novalis and Kosmač.

Activities Swimming in the Soča and Idrijca rivers, kayaking, canoeing, trekking, sightseeing, boat trips on the lake, tennis, cultural sights, fishing, hang-gliding, parachuting, mountaineering, rafting, Alpine-climbing, cycling, skiing, fitness, casino (Perla Nova Gorica, Aurora in Kobarid), hunting, exploring caves, country tourism, horseback riding... We can organize for you rafting, parachuting, kayak and canoe lessons and other sports activities at Maya sports tourism.
The fishing is possible in the Soča river (one of the most beautiful rivers in Europe), in the Soča lake and in Idrijca, Bača and Trebuščica rivers. Price per max. occupancy: 4 persons; more than 4 persons (5-7):additional 15 € per person/day.
Children under 15 years - 50% discount, children under 2 years – free. Costs for final cleaning - 30 €. Tourist tax - price per person/day: 1,27 € adults and 0,63 € children aged 7-18 years. Incl. wireless internet, LCD TV, bed linen, towels and laundry. Crib and garage for bikes and motorcycles or sport and fishing equipment available free of charge upon request. We can provide fishing permits or fishing guides and arrange meals at the nearby restaurants. During the winter months (November-April) the cost of heating and electricity will be charged according to consumption.
