Cortijo Sabila has been a labour of love and painstakingly restored so you can enjoy all the creature comforts of an international Hotel, but with the discreet friendliness of a family owned boutique.

We have individually refurbished and created each room in our Andalucia hotel to celebrate our absolute passion for this area.

There are hand crafted details, antique and modern fittings, sumptuous mattresses & luxurious linen for your stay. With branded toiletries, fluffy towels, ensuite bathrooms, massage showers, complementary bath robes, free wifi… and incredible views.

Rooms

MALAGA

is our largest suite with a 6 foot double bed (or two singles) and living area with comfy sofa and DVD player. Modern and vibrant, with classic furniture, the adjacent dressing hall has ample fitted wardrobes in Spanish oak.

The generous en-suite bathroom has a bath, large shower, WC and twin sinks. This room can accommodate up to two extra beds.

The views from the two windows, one full length, are simply stunning. It’s our most popular room so book early.

GRANADA

Granada to us means the stunning Alhambra Palace, the gypsy quarter full of wonderful tapas bars and caves and home of traditional flamenco. But it is also a vibrant, modern and stylish city.

We’ve designed this room with a modern urban chic edge containing a 5 foot leather sleigh bed, ample fitted wardrobes, classic furniture and views of our orchard with the mountains beyond. The en-suite is modern with twin sinks, WC and a large shower. This room can accommodate a sofa bed.

Our guests love the modern colours, lighting and soft furnishings in this lovely room which can also feature a sofa bed.

PICASSO

One of beautiful garden rooms, this room is packed with details to love and some Picasso-inspired popping colours.

It has twin or super king (6 foot) double bed. Views from the wrought iron doors onto our own plaza España and mountains beyond.

There’s a fabulous walk around wet room with purple massage shower, WC and sink unit.

We’ve of course added our own little nods to Picasso and some unique furnishings in this light, bright room. 

CORDOBA

Cordoba is a very romantic room with Moroccan lighting and a wrought iron 5 foot four poster bed and lovely views of the palm court and mountains.

It has individually chosen antique furniture and solid oak fitted wardrobes. The en-suite has stunning hand painted tiles reminiscent of the mezquita in Cordoba with a large shower, WC and twin handcrafted marble sinks.

Cordoba is a room packed with exquisite detail and designed for a very romantic stay.

SEVILLA

Possibly one of the most thrilling, historic and vibrant cities in Spain. Unmissable!

And so is this lovely Andalucia hotel room which overlooks our palm court with views of the mountains beyond.

The large antique double bed has been handcrafted from a mixture of wood and iron and compliments the antique furniture and oak fitted wardrobes. The en-suite with large shower, WC and twin traditional pedestal sinks features traditional Spanish hand painted tiles.

You’ll feel the spirit of Triana, the area of Seville steeped in gypsy tradition and passion, in every part of this gorgeous suite.

ROSARIO

No Andalucia hotel would be complete without a room that reflects the joy & warmth of its people…. Rosario is the local pueblo (town).

Our only first floor room with a balcony overlooking the Palm Court, you enter via a private lobby with sitting area overlooking the internal courtyard and water feature. The room has a very romantic feel with an antique brass double bed and fire place and walk in wardrobe with plenty of space to hang a long length wedding and bridesmaid dresses. The en-suite has a washbasin and WC, and high-powered shower.

Step outside onto the private balcony with incredible mountain and olive grove views and really breathe out!

CERVANTES

One of our new garden rooms, with lovely terrace outside and featuring a beautiful antique oak Spanish four poster bed.

Star gaze from your bed up through the Velux window in the ceiling and enjoy the lovely furnishings inspired by Cervantes, the famous Spanish author.

The Velux window makes an interesting feature to star gaze from your bed. The walk around wet room adds a modern twist with its glass sink and massage shower.

With it’s beamed ceiling and original stonework walls, this is a special room indeed.

CAMARON

This garden room truly captures the colours and passion of this famous Spanish flamenco artist.

It can be arranged as a twin or super king (6 foot) double bed. Views from the wrought iron doors onto our own plaza España and mountains beyond. The room features a walk around wet room with massage shower and separate WC. Outside seating area.

This room is much loved by our guests and an absolute delight to stay in.

NEW LUXURY YURTS

We are so excited to be unveiling soon our 3 custom built luxury yurts, bookable from mid May 2019!

Placed in our olive groves to enjoy the peace and quiet and solitude but within an easy walk of the pool area and main house where breakfast and other meals are taken.

All with have ensuite wet rooms, with a modern rain shower, WC and washbasin. The yurts have windows are totally insulated and have heating/air conditioning units. And solid wood tiled floors.  The interiors have twin beds or a super king double, rustic furniture, a sofa, rugs and throws. Outside there is a private seating area to enjoy the views.

BEAUTIFUL CORTIJO

The Cortijo is surrounded by mountains and sits within its’  own established olive groves but is easy to find just off the main A92 to Granada.

The perfect base to explore Cordoba, Malaga, Granada, Ronda and the beautiful countryside.

And whilst you are here there is so much to admire about this interesting building including what every Spanish hotel needs – a cellar wine bodega! We even have a corporate conference/meeting room.

POOL, JACUZZI AND BAR

We created an organically designed pool that would blend seamlessly into the stunning landscape around.

It’s eco-friendly and a salt water pool, with luxury sunbeds with towels and parasols. The electro charged water refreshes and tones your skin and body but there’s also a magnificent 12 person jacuzzi.

Plus “Los Sierras” poolside honesty bar, a great place for a pre-dinner sunset cocktail, a refreshing juice and taking on other guests at our giant games area!

RELAXING LOUNGE

Our boutique hotel Andalucia offers guests the perfect place to relax on our huge comfy sofas with a drink, a book or some music.

It’s a great place to mingle with other guests especially around the fire on chilly nights.

The decor is inspired by  different religious iconography, with the huge cabinets specially made for the high ceilings.

With interesting hallways and features, many of our favourite collected objets d’Art are in this room.

7 GARDENS

Our olive grove is still harvested and is just beyond the pool & giant games area. When you step inside our gates you’ll be hit by the colours of hundreds of gorgeous geraniums, carnations and roses in the Plaza Andalucia courtyard. Then wander through palm court, the colonial garden, cocktail terrace and North African are via perhaps our favourite part – the traditional English garden with its bridge and meandering stream!

But the showpiece of the property is undoubtedly the walled Alhambra Garden. Designed as an homage to this World Heritage Site in Granada, we built our own central waterway and thousands of handpainted tiles. There are luxurious sunbeds, sofa and shade in the logis.

DINING SPACES

Our main dining room is simply spectacular, from the rich indulgent decor to the antique table settings, curtains and objets d’Art.

The huge Moroccan courtyard in the centre of the house hosts most breakfasts, and has handmade tiles, fountain and orange trees, with large umbrellas for shade.

Our unique Alhambra Garden is a dramatic and romantic setting for any meal or wedding, with night lighting and central water feature, all created from a derelict empty concrete shell by ourselves.

And lastly the swimming pool area, which makes a great location for a pre-wedding paella party or BBQ.
