Podere Pietreta welcomes you to its simple and refined Tuscan atmosphere, in a land where history and art have left treasures of inestimable value, in the beautiful and unspoilt Val d'Orcia - a World Heritage Site - the land of excellent wines, authentic cheeses and the rediscovery of ancient recipes.

Pietreta, as it is commonly known, is in Radicofani, a typical medieval village, a small jewel of Tuscan architecture with its grey stone houses and the Fortress of Ghino di Tacco that powerfully dominates the valley.

The Country House - situated on a hill with wonderful views - has recently been elegantly restored and subdivided into apartments and double bedrooms, furnished with antiques in respect of rural history, without neglecting all the necessary modern comforts.

APARTMENTS

Three comfortable apartments and two lovely double bedrooms,of different sizes are at the disposal of the guests, as well as a small house that is also located in the large park of Pietreta.

Each apartment is positioned to ensure the complete privacy of guests: each, in fact, is placed on one side of the Country House. All of our guests can enjoy the beautiful view over the Val d'Orcia.

The interiors are elegantly furnished with authentic antique furniture that has been collected by the owners from family inheritance and Tuscan farmhouses, and the kitchens are made of hand-wrought stone. The fireplace is an essential element in the living rooms of each apartment.

All guests can enjoy an exclusive large outdoor area where they can have meals in the shade under a gazebo / umbrella and where, if they want to cook outdoors, they have access to their own barbecue.

The small stone house - called Quercia (Oak) House - has a beautiful view over the valley, it has two separate entrances and is surrounded by a large private garden with a furnished gazebo, outdoor patio and barbecue.

Each apartment has central heating and free WI-FI.

Guests have access to the pool (6x12m) and a fully equipped laundry.

Shops, banks, post office, restaurants, bars, and so on, are just two kilometres from Pietreta.

In order to preserve the tranquillity of our guests, Pietreta does not have an on-site restaurant; instead, one of the best restaurants in the area offers Podere Pietreta customers a full à la carte meal at a great price.

Smoking is not permitted in the apartments.

Each room may be directly accessed from the garden with a separate entrance to ensure complete privacy.
